Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Joshua 1:7
Sometimes I need strength and courage to approach the challenges ahead. In this passage, Joshua is prepared to lead Israel after the death of Moses. It sounds like a daunting assignment but God gives Joshua instruction in the first chapter to assure his success:
- Live fearlessly – Be Strong and Courageous
- Live right – Obey God’s Word
- Live Focused – Stay on the path God has created for you
