I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. I can’t give up now. My future is ahead. If I keep putting one foot in front of the other, it won’t be long before I will be in another place and time. So we keep pushing. We keep seeking God’s direction. We keep listening for His voice for the next steps and plans. We keep trusting that His instruction is working everything together for our good. Every step of the way, we are centered in His love. Every step we can trust Him and experience His peace. I am pushing on.
