My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.      Proverbs 2:1 – 6

Sometimes I am at a loss for the words to say, the next steps to take or how to respond to a situation to make it better.   I have experienced the avoidable fallout of both careless words and bad decisions.   At this time in my life, I desire to be on a steady path of walking in the center of God’s will.  I want my words and my actions to be reflective of God’s love and purpose for my life.  On certain days, we may wonder why we are here and what we should be doing.  I am so thankful that we can ask God for understanding and insight.  With a listening heart and a focused mind, God is faithful to provide wisdom for today and the days ahead.
